In the corridors of life
Money, power, we strive
The labyrinthine ways of the world
We crave diamonds oh and pearl

Life makes us choose
A lot, we are afraid to lose
Society we are eager to please
We choose convention, with ease

For all things materialistic
Art, we blacklist
For a big house, that luxury car
We lose ourselves, oh so far

A victim of mind-numbing toil
We become, our life we spoil
No time to be a friend 
Is this how it should end?!


In the corridors of our minds
Hidden behind blinds
There is a dimension locked away
Unused, it will decay

Each step is a choice
To find our voice
Break free like the roaring tide
Let creativity be the guide

This path will bring success
Beyond anything we can guess
This is the real test
To at last become our best

To prove we have what it takes
We fumble, make mistakes
There will be struggles and pain
Eventually there’s much to gain!


In the corridors of our heart
A part is waiting for us to start
Our spirits, we should lift
For our life, is a gift

We only have to believe
If we are willing to achieve
Our truth is the only light
The bright day, after the night

Let’s paint our lives with our hues
Dance to our own cues
Let ecstasy fill you
To hypocrisy, say adieu

Happiness is what awaits
If we give into faith
To follow our dreams
That’s the only truth, it seems!
